The project
Taylor Wimpey developed the Meadowbrook Estate off Durranhill Road in Carlisle, delivering a major residential development of 198 new homes. MSS provided a hardwired CCTV solution to support security during the construction phase.
The challenge
With multiple trades, contractors, deliveries and site personnel moving through the development at different times, Taylor Wimpey needed reliable surveillance and greater visibility across a large, continually changing site.
The MSS solution
MSS supplied and installed an eight-camera hardwired CCTV system on 9 October 2020. The system provided dedicated surveillance coverage across the development, supported by responsive, detail-focused service from the MSS team.
The result
The site team gained increased visibility across the development while MSS provided ongoing support with the practical security challenges associated with a busy construction environment.

Development begins
Permission was received for the primary phase comprising 198 homes.

Development extended
Planning approval was granted for an additional 15-home extension.

The development reached completion with final plots prepared for occupation.
